EMPHASIS VIDEO ENTERTAINMENT BOLSTERS TEAM WITH NEW APPOINTMENTS
HONG KONG, 19 June 2008 - Emphasis Video Entertainment (EVE), the inflight movies and TV programmes distribution and post production division of Emphasis Media Limited, has recently announced new appointments to enhance the efficiency and operation of its team and improve the services it provides to more than 55 airline clients across the world.
Ms Frances Cheng has been promoted to Manager, Programming with effect from 01 May, 2008 due to her outstanding performance. She joined Emphasis in August 2007 as Senior Executive, Programming.
Ms Cheng has been in the media field for six years. She joined Emphasis from Phoenix Satellite Television where she worked for the production of live news programmes. Prior to Phoenix, she was with TVB and Edko Films participating in the production of drama programs, providing secretarial and administrative support to the Production Executive and the production team as well as scheduling and distributing films.
Ms Alison Chan who works at the Acquisition and Distribution, Short Features team has been transferred to the Programming team as Senior Executive, Programming and will report to Ms Cheng.
Ms Chan joined Emphasis in March 2001, bringing with her more than 10 years’ experience in video industry with solid hands-on know-how of VCD and DVD encoding, video duplication, distribution and co-ordination. She was previously with Mei Ah Video Production, Golden Harvest Group and Hong Kong Video Publishing. With her solid experience working
closely with content owners as well as servicing some regional airlines, Ms Chan will be a positive addition to the programming team.
