EMPHASIS MEDIA STRENGTHENS MEDIA SALES TEAM WITH NEW APPOINTMENTS

HONG KONG, 20 December 2007 – Emphasis Media Limited, one of Asia’s biggest inflight publishers and world’s largest inflight advertising sales companies, moves ahead with new hires and appointments to bolster a stronger media sales team in the region.

Sales for Emphasis publications, ambient and other media, is now headed by Mr Julius Toh, who, because of his remarkable efforts in leading sales initiatives from Emphasis’ Singapore office, has been promoted to Group Director, Media Sales. Mr Toh, an advertising and media industry veteran for more than 10 years, will head the global media sales activities of more than 40 titles the company represents. He has served as Emphasis’ Regional Director, Southeast Asia and Pacific for one year and will be relocating to Hong Kong in early 2008.

Ms Joui Ong will succeed Mr Toh as Regional Director, Media Sales – Southeast Asia and Pacific effective January 1, 2008. Ms Ong is an experienced marketing and business development professional with 10 years experience in multinational and start-up environments. In her last role with Crush Advertising, she was responsible for the client
service division, with accountability for the agency’s entire portfolio of pan-regional blue-chip client accounts. To be based in Singapore, Ms Ong will work closely with Mr Toh and will supervise the media sales team in Singapore.

Meanwhile, the team will be supported by Mr Ronald Chua as Director, Media Sales Support. Based in Hong Kong, Mr Chua will help drive international sales business. Mr Chua, a business and marketing veteran with more than 20 years experience in the international arena, spending more than a decade working in international advertising agencies and
managing sales teams in the media industry, joined the company last October 2007.
